Story of Aslam Masih

                Story of Aslam Masih

Aslam Masih is a resident of Youhanabad, Lahore, Pakistan. He is  the father of three children, two boys and a girl.  Aslam's family  is poor because he is a painter and  earns only  400  to 500 rupees ($4 to $5) a day. Aslam 's wife,  Mumtaiz Bibi,  is a housewife.  Sometime she sews  people's clothes for extra income. The money that Aslam earns for a hard day's work is used to cover the debt he incurred for his wife operation .  So essentially Aslam and Mumtaiz maintain their household, with much difficulty, just with the sewing that Mumtaiz does.

Aslam's children are young now and they would like to attend school, but due to their poverty they cannot afford it. Aslam's children said they sometimes spend a whole night and all day without food. They have no electricity at their home in the scorching heat. They have do not have enough clothing.
Aslam and his wife recently Joined Holy Heaven Ministry and its Sunday service prayers, by the grace of God. Aslam said that before coming to HHM, they didn’t attend any church anywhere, and they never read the Bible or prayed at home.

But after Joining Holy Heaven Ministry, and  through the prayer of Pastor Asher John and his ministry,  God has changed their lives. Now they pray with him daily for their financial issues.

Aslam Masih and his family are regular in Sunday prayer and God is changing their lives through HHM. God is also solving their financial issues.

With the great work of God, Aslam's children will start school at Holy Heaven Ministry which is near their home.  Holy Heaven Ministry will also help them with food and clothing for their children. God is solving their issues because they are asking from God and God is providing them through Holy Heaven Ministry.

This is the family of Aslam Masih.

Aslam Masih has asked us to help  with his debt so that with his daily income , along with his wife's little extra, they will  be able to manage their home, food, and a few other expenses.

Therefore, HHM is trying to help them with their debt.  Could you consider helping them out with your contribution? Or else you can pray for them, which is a most powerful thing.

Please pray also for Holy Heaven Ministry so that God will use us more to save others and bring them into Body of Christ like Aslam Masih.

Maqbool Masih Story

                               Maqbool Masih Story

Maqbool Masih is a resident of Youhanabad, Lahore, Pakistan. He  is a father of  5 children. Maqbool Masih works as a labourer and earned only 300 ($3) or 400 ($4) rupees per day. Maqbool became a member of Holy Heaven Ministry on September 8, 2014.

Before his membership in HHM, Maqbool was addicted in drugs, smoking, and alcohol.
Maqbool was Christian in name only. He did not go church regularly, and he had very little religious activity in his life.  He was very far from Jesus.  His wife also did not attend any church due to their poor status. She did not believe that she  good enough clothes to go anywhere outside.

His children were also worried about their studies because they were not able to go school due to his low salary.

One day Maqbool’s wife came with a friend to our church for Sunday services.  She described her family's situation to Pastor Asher John.

With the help of pastor Asher John and the prayers of the church members, God  changed her life and she started praying for her family and financial issues.  After a few days of prayer for her husband, she asked him to attend church with her in Holy Heaven Ministry. For two or three Sundays he refused to go church, but prayer can do anything.  She prayed hard for her husband.  Finally, he did attend Pastor Asher's church, and God changed his life.  He became a follower of Jesus Christ.  On September 8 2014, God changed Maqbool Masih's Life and he accepted God into his heart  He left his all bad habits and became a follower of Jesus.

Because he and his family became a members of Holy Heaven Ministry, Maqbool Masih's children started attending the day school, with the help of Pastor Asher and his some of his family Members.  HHM paid their all school expenses, including school uniforms, stationary material, shoes, and all they needed for school.

Here is picture of Maqbool Family.

Recently, Maqbool's children passed with good grades and were promoted to the next level.  Maqbool's wife attends church regularly and prays for the happiness of their family.  Maqbool Masih got a better job where he can earn $50 easily . He goes to work in the morning and then in the evening after work each day he comes to Pastor Asher For Bible Study, along with a friend.

God Has saved many lives through Holy Heaven ministries.  The Maqbool family is one of them.
Holy Heaven Ministry wants to reach out to those people who are still not fellowing Jesus even though they call themselves Christians.  We are searching for people and visiting them daily in their homes. God's work is being done through Holy Heaven Ministry.
We need your support through prayers and donations for the families who are suffering,  like the Maqbool family was.

Food distribution 2012

Holy Heaven Ministry (HHM) Pakistan is registered with the government of Pakistan.  It has been reaching out to to the poor since 2003.  It began with the planting of a church in Lahore by Pastor Asher John, the director of HHM Pakistan. Many have been saved under his ministry.  In 2012, the HHM team, including Asher John's two children, began a “Sunday School” (which actually meets every day of the week) for poor Christian children in the area.  The school not only provides Christian teaching, with instructional materials, but also two free meals a day.  HHN also provides shoes and clothing, without cost, to any children who need them.  Parties are held for the children two or three times a month.  The HHM team has been doing this mostly mostly out of their own personal funds.  But, as a result, they have been able to lead many children to Christ both inside and outside the Sunday School.

The primary goal of HHM is to witness to the children who work in the local kiln at an age when they should be in school, and to provide them with a free education.  The HHM Sunday School began in March 2012.  After the first ten children had worked hard to complete their first session, the HHM team held a celebration on July 27, 2012. This was a Food Distribution Party in which they provided extra groceries for the Sunday School children to take home.  Outsider children were also invited in order to supply some of their needs as well, and to invite them to enroll in the Sunday School.

Here is a picture of the party.

At the program, Pastor John encouraged all the children to seek an education and to pray for a brighter future.  He explained the differences between an educated and an uneducated person by using their own families as examples.  He also told them about the advantages of attending the Holy Heaven Ministry Sunday School, which includes a basic education along with spiritual instruction, plus assistance with food and clothing.  As a result, several more children joined the Sunday School, increasing the enrollment to 41.
From 2012 to the present, those children have been growing in their education and in their knowledge of God.  This effort has included supplying all instructional materials and notebooks, two meals each day, and shoes and clothing for the children when needed.  All of this has been covered almost entirely out of the small incomes of Asher John and his two adult children, Anaam and Anushka.

Presently, in March 2015, we have received more than 160 requests from other children who would like to stop working and join our Sunday School. The first thing we would need are larger facilities, perhaps by purchasing our own building. Then we would need sufficient income to provide teaching materials and food for up to 160 or more additional children, which we cannot now manage out of our own pockets.  We need to meet their material needs in order to help them grow in the knowledge of Jesus.

Please browse our Website and see the work we are doing.  If you desire to contribute to our ministry, or, better yet, partner with us in doing the Lord's work among the little angels of Pakistan, please contact us.  (Click “Contact Us” above.)  We need your support.
